Feel incredibly low today.
Gem's phone is off and I'm severely over worked at well...work (why doesn't that sound right?)

I'm completely fed up of having no money and having crappy meals as a consequence.
I look at people's computers with there photos and they are all having fun and myfacespacebooking and generally living life, kicking it in the cities.

Feel low, and very on my own.

Emo yes, over dramatic, maybe, I just feel like im spinning around the plughole waiting to go down it.

Bottom line, I'm deeply unhappy.

Gemma failed to believe me when I said that they do cups that hold almost two litres of drink in america at fast food joints.

As much as it pains me to admit this I have been thoroughly enjoying the Doctor who audio plays by big finish recently on my way to work in the car.
The stories are approximately 2 hours so are great for half on the way there and half on the way back.

The effects are always top notch as they are made up in your head and they are less camp than David Tennant running about with actor that needs a job that week as a bad guy.

Best of all are the story arcs though, one story might intermingle with 3 different doctors.

Pathetic I know but I like Doctor Who, the tv show annoys me no end though as it's become vehicle to sell toys and women are supposed (and do) to think that Tennant is"dishy".

Final nerd rant is that Tennant does not portray someone that is 900 years old, Eccleston did that marvellously and could clearly act, but gets no praise as he's not "dishy".

Anywho (geddit) I must say I recommend the audio plays as its great to let the actors that never got a good crack of the whip and let them develop the role with more free reign.

Today are be mostly melting.

It's too hot in work, just no air flow at all, no chance of any cold showers and no chance to hide in a nice dark place. No money for the drink machine and we are awaiting a delivery of water for the cooler.

What a terrible day dream I just had.
I imagined that I was dying and wouldn't see my next birthday, so I was gven a playstation 3 and gtaIV as an advanced present, and my family secretly discussed that I would get another birthday on my actual one if I lived that long.

I didn't have a lot of energy so I would just stay in bed all day playing gta and then fall asleep often with the dual shock 3 sixaxis controller in my hands.
I had the bed moved round facing the wall so that my parents could put a big plasma telly on the wall.

How great is my life that I'm imagining I'm dying ffs?

I guess it's just the gargantuan amount of stress that I'm under and dying would of course relieve all of that.
Additionally how detailed are my daydreams!

Of course when I went to the cash point there was a huge line as 2/3 of the machines were out of order....Then it rained.

So I got the money out and sat in the car to dry, so that I didn't have to talk with any of the losers I work with. le joy

What are the odds that I can't get fuel tonight because of the panic buying, then I'll have to sleep down here in the car.......

Got up late AGAIN today, after staying up much later than my body wanted me to.
Got to work with no breakfast or lunch.
I have no money for any food either as I just can't afford it, and I only have 30mins lunch so no time to buy anything other than crisps anyway.

I'm really, really hungry, and my head really hurts, I need to spend my lunchbreak inline for the cashpoint in order to get some money out for petrol so that I can actually make it home.

Just feel like a bundle of crap today.

Sadique is off as the stuff he had to take for his xray has given him jaundice (spl?) and I've been left with complete retards "helping" me, that ask me really, really fucking obvious questions.

Just feel like shit, that is all *belly grumbles in agreement*

Been a weird day.
There seems to be a tension in the air, and for some reason I get a forboading(spl?) feeling that I'm going to get a bollocking for something, but I genuinely don't have any reason to feel this, odd.

One of my managers (the only one I like) has fucked up big time with an issue and may even get the sack over it, which sucks as he was only trying to help.
I'm just hoping that when I get out of here tonight this feeling lifts and I'll race home to Gemma and play gran tourismo... time will tell...

Just listening to tell me where it hurts by garbage, and that is helping to sooth my spirit.
Reminds me of that summer by the thames that I'm fighting for.

Sometimes I know I am a geek.
For example I'm more excited than you could possibly imagine about going to the royal observatory in greenwich tomorrow.
They have a new exhibit on time that has got me stoked and I'm really looking forward to bimbling around a museum again with Gemma.

In other news I cant wait for my new phone, and I found out that a new card for it is just £10 meaning that I'd have similarish spec to the 8gb phone!
Phil's dad came up trumps, remembered that I was doing my running and they had a gps fitness thingy (not played with it yet, think its for speed and distance) at his work, so he took that home to get phil to give it to me, which looks pretty awesome, and was very nice of him.

I'm thinking jacket potato for tonights dinner gem if you read this :)

Talking about mobile phones in work the other day I realised that it was about a year since I got my last phone (sony k800i)
It's served me well but the joystick is getting less responsive and I am entitled to a new phone under contract.
So I called O2 and asked which phones I could get, only to be told that I was not allowed another phone, not only that but my contract would be cancelled soon.
The reasoning was that I am on an old tariff through work and I pay half price line rental.
Upset at this I asked to be put through to to cancellation department (retention department or something like that it's called, clearly as they don't want to lose you).
After telling them that I wanted to cancel my contract unless I could retain it with an upgrade phone and waiting for about 10 mins on hold I was told that I could have an 18 month contract (which wasn't ideal as I don't like signing into contracts for more than one year) with an upgrade to a free phone, I then said that I would think about it and call them back.
Looking on their website I saw that you could get the Nokia n95 1gb for free under contract, this has got a 5MP camera and flickr integration, which would be awesome, as well as other neat tricks.
I phoned them back, asked to be put through to cancellations again and told them that the last person I had spoken too had said that I could have a free phone, they confirmed that I would be able to get a free phone but only if I cancelled my discount and it had to be one of three phones they mentioned (which were crap).
I asked to speak to the manager therefore and thought I'd just be cheeky, just like I've heard about on television, If you threaten to leave they are much more likely to do deals with you.

After negotiating with the manager I told him that the N95 was avaliable on their basic packages and I'm sure they could give me that for free, even on my contract where that phone should be £90.

The manager came back after 5 minutes and said alright then, meaning I get to keep my discounted phone rate AND get a new Nokia N95 which should be with me in a matter of days!!!!

AWESOME!

Just looking forward to being able to upload to flickr directly (so long as it's cheap enough) and having a bigger screen w00t!!

Feel REALLY tired today.
That lost hour has just killed me, I'm dead, only basic functions are still working with the aid of a machine, someone needs to turn me off.
Super busy at work and once again they have over booked my jobs, giving me twice the normal work load, but it's not all bad, sadique my friend is here and we're slowly getting through it all.

Phil was going on about buying two graphics cards for his computer to get a better performance out of games this morning and its winding me up as I can't even affords the equivalent of one.
What the hell did he do right that I did wrong? All those exams etc account for nothing it seems.

Having a stir fry tonight which I'm looking forward to as Gemma is brilliant a cooking stir fry (if not answering her phone HINT) and I've got a bottle of good wine that I've been saving that might get cracked open.

Still at least a good chunk of my ebay stuff finally got posted off, just a case of waiting to see now with regards to disputes etc as you can bet your life something will go wrong.

All in all I'm quite chipper all things considered, just wish Gemma could find a job, it would do her the power of good and I wouldn't have to play the evil bastard that wont let her buy a bloody magazine.

Additionally I am really trying hard not to let my pronunciation and language slip, as both my father and phil have terrible grammar and use slang to a fault.
Phil says things along the line of "xbox is more better than ps3" which is painful to listen too and my father such eloquent terminology as "that will learn him" with no hint of irony.
Admittedly I use "that learned him good" etc, but only as means of annoying Gemma he uses it though because it appears he knows no better.

Perhaps this makes me a snob, perhaps it makes me someone that cares enough about language to try to preserve it in its current form and no dilute it to the point where it's not as useful a tool.

I'm not perfect, my spelling, grammar, vocabulary and listening skills all leave a lot to be desired, but I can carry on no longer with just grinning and bearing it as it is affecting the way I talk.

An I aint gonna 'av it as I is sick wich you talking not proper like wot I does.
